Yeah Yuffie is a good alternative if you have artic star and diner tray. There's a decent amount of combinations but generally you want at least 1 wind res debuffer but having someone to debuff PDEF is very important too if you're running stage 4-5, possibly stage 3 too if you're DPS isn't high. I've seen other people run Vincent just fine, really depends where you have his weapon at and what stage you're playing on. At OB10 it does 1200% Wind Damage at high HP, 1020% at OB6

yeah you really can't filter by the C-abilities haha and both were additions to the game through banners. Aerith's weapon is six months old and Red's weapons is 3 months old. Surprised they didn't have a banner releasing a new one to tied to the guild battle. Instead we got Zack DPS weapon and Cait Sith buffing weapon.

It was just rage collar for boost attack, just use whatever will help him do more damage. Or you could play it safe and give him more HP and Defense

Now if they could only add Queensblood to Ever Crisis. Please!

yeahhh kind of an odd move from the game to put so much emphasis on wind res down when there's only 2 weapons that can do that lol no matter how good your wind DPS team is, you're pretty much screwed if you don't have wind breach for 4 and 5.

@@CaponeToneTony Exactly. I unfortunately do not have Floral at OB6. I do have Kamura OB6 along with OB10 Motor drive and OB10 DH and 6.5k+ patk for both. I still feel weak because that wind res stacks too high for FW to keep up with.

@@Timbuktu23 yeah pretty much can't run double dps effectively at stage 4 or 5 unless you have OB6 Floral wand, pretty annoying haha

As long as you're trying your best haha Not everyone will be good at this one just because Wind Res down is such an important thing and only 2 weapons in the game have it

Sephiroth, Aerith, Tifa both dps have a OB6 wind weapon, just to bad my patk all buff weapon and the wind debuff weapon are just OB5 on Aerith... got a shit ton of tickets but aint going to use any of it until Tifa's fire weapon gets added to them.

@@CaponeToneTony Cost me 8 rolls to get the costume, 1 sephiroth earth weapon (just the guaranteed one) and 2 nightjars during the pulls. Did 4 sets of 1 stamp and 4 sets of 2 stamps. Wasn't the best rolls overall as I didn't get too many wishlist stuff either but the 2 night jars and odd other weapon did pop up. Glad it didn't cost more.

@@CaponeToneTonyyeah I got real lucky got like 3 copies of it on the last crisis core chapter release with all those Zack tickets. I started at monster hunter tho so I don’t have the costume - I just use monster hunter costume for the 10 phys ability 😂 and I had used some weapon vouchers to ob6 it previously for b90

@@Nolkyo you have to time defensive mode when he starts doing those big flame attacks deep into the fight. That's why I was taking around 5k-ish per hit. And quickly able to heal back up with a single target cura from Matt. I didn't use it but Ice breach could help you in this fight too

@@CaponeToneTony Nvm I found the issue : I had centipede ob5 so I couldn't go to high, upgrading it to OB6 fixed it thanks !

I just did 99 last night, you pretty much have to switch to all limit breaks, no summons. My strat is kill 1 dog ad and just letting the other one live as long as possible and focusing on the main boss. I did it with Ice Seph, Centipede Matt, and Microlaser/Electrocanon Barret

@@CaponeToneTonythx for the tips will give it a go. I don’t have ice seph so will probably swap out for half annv cloud

@@alchalant4663 ice cloud will do more damage since it's weaker to physical, but someone else will need to bring a darkness esuna if you bring physical attackers

Yeah I could have made it easier if I did some more interruptions but I feel like I didnt need to haha much more helpful if you're lacking a little DPS and healing

Leather Gloves won't work because he's immune to PATK Down. Kamura would work tho, but I liked Floral wand since it's 3 ATB

Yeah exactly. Tifa PATK can get buffed by Aerith, Yuffie, Matt and Glenn. It really doesn't have a ton of use anymore, but it is nice for r abilities. But even then, more times than not, I use Mad Minute over Amarant as a sub weapon

I love Zack as a character but for whatever reason I have never pulled on a single banner of his 😂 yeahhh his wind costume will eventually come later, same deal with Red XIII getting his costume first and weapon later. I don't like it

I use Cloud more than anyone else in the game. I think Cait Sith could get a buff wind weapon next week

They honestly could have done sooooo much more for this crossover. The lack of story is definitely one of the most disappointing things about it imo. I agree they should have just given Zack a male version of the Beatrix costume, it would have definitely enticed more people to pull.

Mid to Mid at OB0, Mid to High at OB6 or above. I'll be honest though, I feel like this video is somewhat dated. Amarant Claws are good at OB6 but with Anniversary around the corner I feel its better to save crystals.

as someone who wasnt around the last time this event was around and was tired of seeing the wallpapers for these weapons unobtainable in my General Missions - I went ahead and pulled for the sake of unlocking them and maybe getting them to ob2 to get their wallpapers 🤷‍♂ - if I had been in the game back then or before, it might've been a different story

@@RockNRollGeek I get ya, these were amazing weapons for back in the day, I just feel I pretty much never use them anymore aside from being R-Ability stat sticks just because non-elemental damage is barely ever needed in this game. It'll be great for this event battle in particular and you'll get the material bonus when farming. Plus The costumes and weapons do look good, especially if you're an FF9 fan.

I want some added scenes to the story, I think that was the most disappointing part of the event originally. I feel like everyone's weapons and costumes will get some kind of buff...hopefully

it is wild how aggressive they've gotten leading up to the anniversary. This will have been 1 limit break banner and the return of 2 limited banners leading up to Anni. Applibot needs to chill lol

@@CaponeToneTony the thing that's funny is that they realized that ppl were pulling on and less banner now, so they had to do something about it, and that's their answer, wich makes me more confident in my choice to skip everything untill anniversary comes around. I got baited once, that will never happen again. Yes, that means you'll have to skip some good stuff along the way, but I truly believe that powercreep happens during those banner, and they even might introduce light/dark element ( wich was datamined a long time ago ), but there's also the fact i don't wanna pull on banners where there isn't any garantee, i truly believe they made a mistake when implementing OB 10 system, it is what is, but even limited banner don't offer guarantee to finish weapon, wich i think is a really bad thing, since even if you spend money you're basically forced to gamble to finish your weapon, and it's even worse for a free player, since he could invest 100k crystal on a banner and still not get what he wants. Even tho i love the game, i've never seen something so bad when it comes to gacha system, so the conclusion that a lot of player came to was : only pull on limited banners, wich i think is a good strategy

@@selimb33 only pulling on limited banners can bite you in the ass too tho if your luck is just bad. I pulled 4 pages on Kamura Aerith and got 0 non-guaranteed banner weapons lol so there is a downside if you go that route. The way I see it is i've cleared all the content in the game pretty easily (aside from Ramuh EX2 which im in no rush to beat). If i'm clearing all the content and always getting top 100 in battle/dungeon rankings then there really is no point to pull on anything unless you just want a costume for your husbando/waifu lol I reallllly would love to get a few copies for my Zidane Sword but i'll probably hold strong. Anni will be huge

@@CaponeToneTony I’ve had my chocobo farming those, but even then I’m at like 2500 per. I love level increases but that’s because I’m casual so it means better chance to clear Summon EXs

I think FF9 was great for back in the day but its a much easier skip than those other 2 banners you mentioned. I would like to get my Zidane Sword better for the R abilities but dont think it's worth it with anni being here in a few weeks.

I used a TON of crystals for this event 😂 that's cool you got guide gloves in the end... I did as well. I think these non elemental weapons are great for R abilities but I rarely actually used them in battle nowadays
